Really bad feeling

I have this uncomfortable and growing hunch that all the Marta news, rumors and discussions coming out of Sweden is nothing more than a concentrated, strategic effort by Marta's agent, Marta friendly Swedish media and even possibly Swedish clubs to drive the price up and at the same time create fan and fellow WPS players disdain for Marta and her greed.
I suspect that clubs in Sweden are laughing at the league's gullibility and agreeing to Marta's obscene compensation demands.
The long term success of the WPS is dependent on Wambach, Lloyd and their WNT teammates not on Marta.

My unsolicited advice to the league, call Marta's bluff and watch her sign whatever you offer her. She needs the league.
