Three players from the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, known as the metroplex, did all the scoring Friday night as the top-ranked Irish (25-0) beat Florida State 2-0 in the quarterfinals in South Bend, Ind.
The Irish will meet No. 5 Stanford (22-1-1) in this Friday's semifinals. The final is Dec. 7.
