North Carolina women's soccer team extended its defensive scoreless streak to 671 minutes and 49 seconds, defeating Illinois 3-0 Saturday in the NCAA College Cup. UNC took the lead at 31:24 of the match on an own goal.

Third-seeded Duke beat second-seeded Virginia 2-0 to advance to the Elite Eight for the second straight year. Junior KayAnne Gummersall scored the game-winning goal in the 16th minute.
