Nadine Angerer eager to sign

Nadine Angerer has declared her interest in playing a year in the WPS. Her agent Siegfried Dietrich is trying to get the best possible offer for her, but has no doubts where it would be best for Angerer to play. Financially, she would be better off in Germany. The salary cap placed on the American clubs, according to Dietrich $540,000 a year for the entire roster, makes it hard for the WPS league to offer really competitive wages. He is also wary about the durability of the new league, in particular with the recent economic recession, and the short season doesn't make for good conditions for a top player.
