Taking on the Lancaster Inferno in the semi-finals of the 2008 WPSL Eastern Conference playoffs, the Reds won a hard fought game 2-1.
After the game was delayed fifteen minutes due to the late arrival of the Inferno, the teams appeared evenly matched early on. In the fourth minute Maggie Tomecka produced a soft shot from inside the box, saved by Inferno keeper Joy Shaiebly. Shortly after, the Inferno had a chance of their own as Reds’ keeper Jill Mastroianni made a save on a header.
