The Pali Blues Soccer Club (6-0-0) put forth an impressive 90 minutes today to defeat the Vancouver Whitecaps (5-1-2) in a battle for the top spot in the Western Conference. Four different players tallied goals for the unbeaten Blues with goalkeeper Val Henderson taking the blank slate in net.
“Throughout the game, we made great runs and maintained great timing,” Blues head coach Charlie Naimo commented. “We trusted each other and were able to run our game plan through the midfield. Every goal we scored was a nice goal.”
