USA 3, Mexico 1

For one fleeting minute on a sun-baked Sunday afternoon, Mexico and their 22,000 screaming fans believed in miracles.
The huge underdogs had just tied the world's top-ranked American women's soccer team 1-1 on Teresa Guadelupe Worbis' stunning 20-yard strike in the 32nd minute, and for a moment, anything seemed possible.
Abby Wambach, the United States' most veteran player, needed about 45 seconds to restore order.
Her immediate answering goal was the dagger in a 3-1 American victory that secured the top spot in Group A of the Olympic qualifying tournament at the Estadio Olympic Benito Juárez.
