USC' Tantillo goes pro
On Saturday afternoon, Rosie Tantillo stepped onto McAlister Field. It was something she had done hundreds of times before.
Only this time, she wasn't wearing a cardinal home jersey.
After graduating from USC in 2007, Tantillo now plays professionally for the Pali Blues Soccer Club.
"The coaching staff is awesome," she said. "It's really organized, and I'm having a great time. I love the girls, I love the team."
The jump to professional soccer hasn't been easy, though, even for a star player.
"In college, it's a short period of time. I remember going through the motions in practice," Tantillo said. "At this level, practice is way more intense. If you mess up, you need to get it right."
