Bartlinkski earns D3 national coach of year award

University of West Florida women's soccer coach Joe Bartlinski was named Tuesday as the national coach of the year for NCAA Division II.
The honor was voted upon by the National Soccer Coaches of America Association.
Bartlinski led UWF to an unbeaten regular season in 2008, a school record 24 wins and the program's first appearance in NCAA Division II Final Four.
The Argos' only loss occurred in double overtime against Seattle Pacific University in the NCAA Division II National Championship game.
Earlier in the season Bartlinski was recognized by the NSCAA as the South Region Coach of the Year.
His career record at UWF is 152-21-9, which is leads the Gulf South Conference in all-time career wins and career winning percentage.
