Hornbacher resigns at Iowa State

Rebecca Hornbacher has resigned as women's soccer coach at Iowa State, the school announced today.
She led the Cyclones to a school career record 45 wins in six seasons, including the program's only trip to the NCAA tournament in 2005.
Iowa State finished with an 8-7-4 record and a berth in the Big 12 Conference tournament in 2007.
Hornbacher said in a press release she is getting married in the spring and will be moving to Omaha.
Associate head coach Scott Ebke will serve as interim head coach.
