Flirida State 3, UConn 2

The UConn women's soccer team allowed the tying goal in the final nine minutes of regulation and lost 3-2 in overtime to Florida State Friday in an NCAA quarterfinal game.
Florida State's Sanna Talonen, a freshman from Finland, scored her third goal of the game 3:56 into the second overtime period to keep the Huskies (14-6-2) from their first final four since 2003.
Florida State (17-5-3), under former Hartford coach Mark Krikorian, will play Notre Dame next Friday in College Station, Texas.
