Small crowd watches USA beat South Korea
A crowd of about 3,000 watched the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team make it four wins in four games on the 2008 Achieve Your Gold Tour, defeating South Korea 3-1 to open a three-game series that continues on Wednesday, Nov. 5, in Cincinnati and concludes on Nov. 8 in Tampa.
Angela Hucles and Heather O’Reilly each scored first-half goals as the U.S. won their 30th game in 2008, building upon their record number of wins in a calendar year. After the half, Lindsay Tarpley scored her career high 12th goal of the year.
