WPSL names Co-Coaches of the Year

Steel City Sparks' Brenda van Stralen and Shek Borkowski of FC Indiana were named as the 2005 WPSL Co-Coaches of the Year.

Brenda van Stralen (Steel City Sparks) - van Stralen, in her first year as the Sparks' head coach, had an impressive 7-3-3 record, placing 2nd within the Eastern Division and earning a wild-card to the Championship Tournament.

Shek Borkowski (FC Indiana) - Borkowski led the team to the Championship title, winning the final in a shootout against the California Storm. FC Indiana went on to win the U.S. Open Cup as well.
